Mark and Jayne Battey, the owners and founders of Miramar Farms, have over 25 years of corporate experience behind them.
In addition to building and running their own successful environmental management firm for over 15 years, they each have unique leadership and board experience in the corporate, not-for-profit, and public sectors.
In addition to her work with Miramar Farms, Jayne is Vice Chair of the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board. She is also a senior fellow and serves on the board of American Leadership Forum. Jayne received her Masters of Science degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and her bachelor’s degree from Boston College. She is certified in the Everything DiSC® and Five Behaviors® leadership curriculum.
Mark also compliments his work at Miramar Farms with board service. He was appointed by the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors to serve on the San Mateo County Pension Board. In addition, he serves on the board of MidPen Housing, the largest affordable housing developer in our region. Mark has an MBA from Stanford University, an MSC in International Relations from the London School of Economics, and a BA from Harvard University.
