Explore Our Spaces

At Miramar Farms, every space is designed to support presence, reflection, and meaningful work. The 11-acre property is home to a restored redwood barn, a well-tended garden, and a series of hand-built structures nestled into the natural landscape—all created to help teams connect with purpose and think beyond the usual walls. Whether you’re meeting as a full group or breaking out into smaller sessions, our spaces invite curiosity, calm, and conversation.

From the central hub of the Barn to the quiet power of the Labyrinth, each setting offers its own atmosphere and potential. And because we host just one group at a time, your team will have complete privacy to move, think, and gather throughout the day.

“We don’t experience natural environments enough to realize how restored they can make us feel, nor are we aware that studies also show they make us healthier, more creative, more empathetic and more apt to engage with the world and with each other. Nature, it turns out, is good for civilization.”

Florence Williams, The Nature Fix

The Barn

The Barn is a space designed for focus, flow, and inspiration. Originally built in the 1940s and fully rebuilt as a meeting space in 2012, the 675-square-foot redwood structure combines rustic charm with modern functionality. Inside, the open floor plan features customizable seating, high-speed WiFi, built-in whiteboards, a mobile 75-inch monitor, and a wood-burning stove that brings warmth to the space—both literally and figuratively.

Connected to the Barn is an 800-square-foot covered pergola with overhead heating, offering additional room for group work, meals, or open-air conversations. The space is framed by a small greenhouse sunroom on one side and a serving kitchen on the other—making it easy to transition from structured sessions to shared meals without missing a beat.

The Barn comfortably accommodates groups of 8 to 45 and serves as a grounding point for your visit. It’s where teams come to listen, learn, collaborate, and reflect. But it’s also a space that encourages stillness. With its natural light, quiet views, and layered history, the Barn invites people to take a breath, reset, and engage more intentionally.

From the Barn, guests can easily explore the rest of the property. Scenic walking paths lead to a series of quiet breakout spaces—each offering a shift in pace and perspective, without ever losing connection to the day’s purpose.

The Garden Kitchen and Pergola

The Garden Kitchen and Pergola offer a lovely spot just outside the barn, bathed in sunlight and furnished with casual tables and benches. This delightful nook is fragrant with the herbs and edible flowers that enhance our food and your overall experience. You’ll find mint, chamomile, and scented geranium that are perfect for afternoon tea, along with plenty of chives for our popular cheddar chive scones. Feel free to enjoy breakfast or lunch in this inviting area, or even take your meeting outdoors for part of the day.

The Garden

The garden is the heartbeat of Miramar Farms. This half-acre of seasonal fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers reflects our commitment to stewardship, sustainability, and rhythm with the land. In spring, you’ll find daffodils and strawberries. In summer, tomatoes and rows of fresh herbs. Come fall, the garden gives way to apples, pumpkins, and golden light.

This is more than a working garden—it’s a space for wandering, wondering, and reconnecting. Whether your team joins us for a garden walk, a Farm Tour and Taste, or simply a moment to breathe between sessions, the garden is always there, quietly offering beauty, nourishment, and perspective.

The Labyrinth

A short five minute walk from the Barn, the Labyrinth is one of the most beloved spots on the property. Perched at the edge of the watershed and overlooking the Pacific Ocean, it offers sweeping views and a profound sense of stillness. The path invites quiet reflection, personal intention, or shared ritual—without requiring anything more than presence.

Teams often use the Labyrinth in creative ways: as a grounding circle to begin the day, a space for life-story walks between colleagues, or a closing ritual to end with gratitude and clarity. However you choose to use it, the Labyrinth offers a rare and memorable setting for connection—with yourself, your team, and the natural world.

The Little Barn

A short three-minute walk from the main Barn, the Little Barn is one of several custom-built breakout spaces designed to support intimate conversation. It offers a more informal setting for small group work or quiet reflection. With simple seating, natural light, and a bit of distance from the main hub, it’s a favorite spot for focused discussions and one-on-one meetings.

Like all of our structures, the Little Barn was designed with care and intention—offering a sense of place and purpose without distraction.

Mavericks Vista

Tucked at one of the highest points on the property, Mavericks Vista is a wooden deck outfitted with simple wooden chairs and an expansive view west toward the Pacific. It’s a quiet perch—about an eight-minute walk from the Barn—that offers a shift in pace and perspective.

The vista is an ideal place for small teams or individuals to step away, take a breath, and see things from a different angle. Whether used for a breakout session, a reflective conversation, or a moment of solitude, Mavericks Vista offers a rare kind of clarity—the kind that comes from being up high, looking out, and remembering the bigger picture.
